A Note From Francisco

I’m drawn to people who don’t quite add up: intelligent people making terrible decisions, guarded people trying to connect, and the unexpected humor in an uncomfortable moment.

I started in theatre, and I still value the rehearsal room: come prepared, stay curious, and leave room for another idea. That curiosity also led me to produce my own films and write OFF SCRIPT: The Actor’s Operating System. Across all of it, I’m looking for the detail that makes someone feel real.

Did you know?

One production. Two very different men.

In a theatre company’s production of Of Mice and Men, I alternated between George and Curley for matinee and evening performances. My director, Marshall, put me through what felt like an acting boot camp. It marked the beginning of my serious theatre work—and helped open the door to more roles through word of mouth.
